BZBGEAR, a one-stop source manufacturer of pro AV and broadcasting equipment, announces the BG-VPTZ-HSU3 live streaming PTZ camera will now include an NDI model: BG-VPTZN-HSU3. The BG-VPTZ-HSU3 series are compact 1080p@60 live streaming PTZ cameras equipped with simultaneous HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB 3.0, and IP streaming outputs. With their compact design, they blend into busy environments such as offices, classrooms, houses of worship, and personal live streaming setups. Even at large events, these cameras produce detailed close-ups with 10x, 20x, or 30x optical zoom lenses available.

“NDI is the most adopted IP technology around and we’re proud one of our top-selling PTZ cameras is joining their ecosystem,” says Eugene Bocharov, CEO and president, BZBGEAR. NDI is a royalty-free technology allowing video and audio sources to be shared bi-directionally across a network. Every source device now becomes a destination while costly cable runs, direct connections, and infrastructure upgrades are no longer required.

The BG-VPTZ-HSU3 series is equipped with a 3.5 mm audio jack allowing the cameras to embed audio such as an audio mixer output or powered mic directly into the video stream. For quality control, 2D/3D noise reduction functions are included.

The PTZ cameras support H.264/H.265 video compression formats. Live footage from the cameras can be broadcast in ONVIF, RTSP, and RTMP IP streaming protocols. With the RTMP protocol, the cameras will be able to stream directly to multiple streaming applications including YouTube, Meta (Facebook), Zoom, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Skype. The USB 3.0 port allows for simple plug-and-play connectivity for any conferencing service. To control the BG-VPTZ-HSU3 series, users can use RS-232, RS-485, LAN, or IR remote control. Also available is BG-PTZ-Control, BZBGEAR’s free proprietary PTZ control software for Windows, Mac, and iOS. Control is also available with the IP VISCA, ONVIF, and PELCO-P/D protocols. 255 available preset positions can be stored internally, with nine of those presets available via IR remote control. To manage the settings, users can access the smart menu or opt for the web GUI.

When installing the BG-VPTZ-HSU3 series, users can mount them on the ceiling, wall, tripod, or simply place them on a desk. These PTZ cameras support Power over Ethernet (PoE), providing power and a network connection using a single category cable.

The BG-VPTZ-HSU3 is available now and in stock with a starting MSRP of $1199. The BG-VPTZN-HSU3 is available now with a starting MSRP of $1299.
